As you can see, the opportunities are tremendous. But the challenges are real. To finish 2024 strong, we are prayerfully pursuing a goal of raising $200,000 by December 31st. Likewise, we plan to launch a capital campaign in the future to purchase our building from Dwell Community Church and make essential upgrades.
What's more, we are navigating a profound challenge with Columbus City School's decision to deny transportation to Harambee students (as well as students from several other nonpublic schools). This has detrimentally impacted enrollment as families who are unable to transport leave the school to find more sustainable options. This hardship detrimentally impacts Harambee's ability to provide opportunities for students & families in need, as well reducing much-needed revenue from the Ohio EdChoice Scholarship.
Yes, there are mountains in the journey, but we know this is the exact place where Jesus can show his power and provision. Jesus said our prayer can move mountains.
